After I got over the fact that these are not pictures but miniatures, a sad thought came to mind: We’ve traded far too many classic store fronts for stores like this. The Disneyfication of New York might make the streets cleaner (and Times Square “safer”) but on days like today, it just makes me sad. Viva la progress?!
