The family is coming up for Thanksgiving. While I know they want to see the above middle, I am pretty sure they want to avoid the above right and left. Anyone know a great perch for the parade? I was thinking the high 80’s might be good. Thoughts?

According to Slate.com, we are certainly not free and clear yet, but all signs point to jobs (unemployment claims are falling etc). “But we shouldn’t expect job growth to come from the Fortune 500. According to a new study from the Kauffman Foundation, companies less than five years old created nearly two-thirds of net new jobs in 2007. Growth will come from the two guys subletting an office suite in Palo Alto who may be creating the next Google, or from the hole-in-the-wall Mexican spot that could be the next Chipotle.”
Unfortunately for us, New York is typically one of the last areas to recover from a recession. With my graduate school loans barreling down my door, I hope jobs are near. I worry though that for many, like myself, it may be too little too late.
